For more than a decade as a licensed attorney, Joey has dedicated his legal career to fighting for individuals facing some of life’s most difficult challenges. He began his legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable William Shashy of Alabama’s 15th Judicial Circuit, where he developed a strong foundation in legal writing and professional advocacy. Joey later returned to his home state of Virginia and practiced personal injury litigation and criminal defense in both Virginia and Washington, D.C. A seasoned courtroom advocate, he regularly tried cases, argued motions, conducted depositions, and represented clients at every stage of the litigation process. After moving to Nevada with his family, Joey joined Drummond Law Firm, where he focuses on complex personal injury and civil litigation matters. His broad litigation experience, trial-tested skills, and unwavering commitment to his clients make him a formidable advocate for those seeking justice after serious injuries and losses.
Education
Joey received his B.A. in History and minor in Political Science degree from Virginia Tech. He received his law degree from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. Joey is admitted to practice law in the State of Nevada, the State of Virginia, and the District of Columbia. In his free time, Joey enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid hockey fan of the Washington Capitals.
