In a case briefed and argued by Mr. Drummond, on November 7, 2013, the Court issued the landmark decision in Humphries v. New York-New York Hotel & Casino, 129 Nev., Adv. Op. 85 (Nov. 7, 2013) clarifying that in a negligent security case an injured patron does not have to sue the intentional actor who attacked or injured them, but can instead file suit against the negligent property/bar/casino for their actions in not having reasonable and appropriate security to protect their patrons.

Fact-finding Review of Goldberg Death

Attorney Craig W. Drummond appointed as the Hearing Officer for the public fact-finding review that occurred on May 1, 2015 in the death of Mimi Goldberg by law enforcement. Presiding Officers are selected by the County Manager from lists approved by the County Commission to preside over the Police Fatality Public-Fact Finding Review process.

Charges Dropped Against Drone Sensor Operator with PTSD

All charges DROPPED against a Drummond Law Firm military client. On June 5, 2015, the U.S. Air Force dropped all charges against a Drone Sensor Operator at Creech Air Force Base after retaining the Drummond Law Firm to aggressively fight and defend against the criminal charges. The servicemember will receive no criminal conviction whatsoever as a result of the case.
